Back to school is not just for kids.

As a Registered Dental Hygienist it is required of us that we continuously learn and advance as our profession changes and advances. Believe me things have changed a lot since I graduated 11 years ago… I have always been someone who loves to learn and I’m incredibly dedicated not only to my profession but to health. I actively seek out learning opportunities that can improve my skillset and increase my knowledge. As you would have seen from my wall of fame in the that contains some of my certificates and certification. The more I know the better I can serve my clients and help them improve their health. Some of that learning takes place through research and some through courses and workshops.

This weekend I will be attending one of my associations provincial conferences. The ODHA is holding the 2016 Reenergize conference in Hamilton. I will be taking part in some courses so that I can bring more knowledge back here to Embrace Dental Hygiene and my clients. I will also be hooking up with some colleagues and friends who I haven’t see for a long time. Stay tuned to facebook and instagram on Friday Sept 23 and Saturday to see what I’m up to.
